正山小种和金骏眉同属红茶，皆产自武夷山桐木关地区。正山小种作为红茶鼻祖，拥有四百多年历史，金骏眉则是 2005 年推出的新产品，是正山小种的一个分支。下面从五个方面阐述两者的区别。

一、原料不同正山小种与金骏眉虽采自同种茶树，但正山小种采用的是金骏眉采摘后留下的一芽二叶或一芽三叶为原料。而金骏眉必须选取茶树刚开芽的嫩芽，摘取芽头最鲜嫩部位，大约 5 斤茶芽（即 50000 粒左右茶芽）才能制成 1 斤成品茶。
